As we bid farewell to 2023, we reflect on a year filled with challenges, victories, courage, and remarkable achievements. It is with gratitude and hope that we present Heartline Haiti’s 2023 Year in Review, summarizing the incredible impact supporters like you have made in Haiti this past twelve months.

The violence, unrest, and steady unraveling Haiti has seen in the past few years is not over. The people have not seen relief, but we know that we’re not only the story of grief and despair unfolding before your eyes. We’ve watched in sadness and mourned the stories across the globe that have dominated the airwaves this year: from continued war in Ukraine, to food insecurity in Africa, to the war in Israel & Palestine. There is much to mourn and much to pray for as we step towards a new year.

As we have done in the past, we continue to choose hope: hope for the country of Haiti, but even more, hope in the people of Haiti. Hope that investing in families in Haiti continues to build a strong foundation, and that on this foundation we build a celebration story, where Haiti finds its footing and suffering no longer has a home there.

In the spirit of celebration and hope, here are a few of the accomplishments Heartline’s been able to achieve through your giving, your prayers and support, and the grace of God.
