Welcome to Heartline’s brand-new website! Thanks for stopping by! If you’re a long-time partner in our work, you might notice that things look pretty familiar. We didn’t reinvent the wheel here, so why change?
Well, there’s a few reasons. First of all, we have a ton of great stories from Haiti – stories where your investments in families pay off, where mothers celebrate the midwives that gave them such great care, where local labor brought us beautiful results, where celebrations at the Education Center became so frequent that we needed infrastructure for them. Now, it’s easier than ever to explore those stories on our new Blog page – with updated formatting, simpler organization, and an ever-growing archive.
If you follow Heartline on social media (@heartlinehaiti) you know that our camera shutters are always snapping. New babies, fashion shows, graduations: we’ve built up quite a library of photos. On the new site, you’ll see fresh images across every page, and you can even meet a couple of our photographers here.
If you’re the kind of person that likes to get backstage and explore the details of how something works, our financial information and annual impact reports are now compiled and easily accessible right here.
New websites can often be really expensive endeavors – organizations spend tens of thousands of dollars on a website development firm, branding and marketing consultants, and focus testing. That’s great for some folks, but we didn’t think our donors would find that was the absolute best use of money, especially given the state of things in Haiti.
